Firmware Engineer

AETi hiring Hardware Design Engineer

Responsible for the development and implementation of software for microprocessor-based applications and systems. The engineer plans, improves and manages software applications from inception to use. This includes allocating resources to complete programming projects and designing detailed plans to ensure firmware is functioning properly.

Skill Requirements
Experience with computer languages used for application development include Java, C/C++. Experience with the 8085 and ESP32 is beneficial.

Education Requirements
Certificate programs in firmware engineering or B. Electronic Engineering.

Salary:  Commensurate on experience

Hardware Design Engineer

This position will be responsible for developing firmware and designing circuit solutions and implementation of electronic designs. Working closely with the firmware engineer, prepare plans, improve, and manage hardware from inception to use. This includes allocating resources to complete projects and designing detailed plans to ensure the hardware is functioning properly.

Skill Requirements
Experience with design for high power like battery chargers, boost convertors, buck convertors, EV chargers and communications to systems (IOT) would be beneficial.

Education Requirements
A BSc. in Electronic Engineering combined with a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in embedded design and electronic development is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering would be considered. A Master’s degree can open the door to advanced senior positions.

Salary:  Commensurate on experience

R&D Electronics Technician

Assist R & D team to assemble and test electronics, electrical, and mechanical prototypes. Source, and order parts as required by team lead. Provide technical documentation and schematic generation. Some field work is expected.

Skill Requirements
Experience with power circuits, soldering, repair and microprocessor design would be beneficial.

Educational Requirement
Graduate of Electronics or Mechatronics Program from Technical School
